Howdy , howdy. I don't know about the rest of ya'll, but ministers convention was a tremendous blessing to me. I have Been fighting some battles of my own and I was beginning to wear down, but all that preaching and worship of God, got me all fired up, I'm ready to work, I found myself thinking yesterday, If only someone would call me, because I'm not scared of it anymore, I feel like God has placed a boldness within me that wasn't there before, sure I'm still nervous. (I am preaching Wednesday night for CPMA service at lakeland) but I'm not afraid. I appreciate all the prayers that have went through for me in this past year. I'm hoping that we as a region can begin to start having some revival, were in the process of planning a youth revival here in lakeland, were in desperate need of an awakening of our youth. In the past year we have dwindled from 9 consistently coming to services down to 2. Some have moved away which is understandable, but others have chosen to leave the ways which they walked in for such a long time. It saddens me to see this happening, and its as if there's nothing I can do to bring them back. But I have been praying that God will do a work within their hearts, and bring the back into the safety of God. It's going to take prayers. I have been thinking a lot here lately about the power and the glory of God manifesting itself within our services. For years and years I have heard of how his presence has not only been seen through spiritual eyes and felt, but times when the power of God was so strong in a place that the blue haze began to settle over the sanctuary. I've heard ministers talk of how people used to get healed. Were is that at? I have a hunger to see these things, I want to know what its like to feel his presence so strong in a place, and the fear of God get on the people of God, that we would fall down on our faces and worship our almighty creator. I have been praying that God would bring his glory back. In scripture it tells me "The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the LORD of hosts"(Hag. 2:9) so I know it will happen, he promised it to me. but he also says  "If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land" (2 chro.7:15) The Church of God has to be willing to humble ourselves. to get in our "prayer closets" seek his face. I believe that when the people of God really get down to business for Him, He will bless his people and his glory Will shine once again. God Bless, Ya'll pray for me, I'm doing the same for you.
