The Church of God in Florida/Georgia has had a camping program since 1995 when Georgia first shared it with Tennessee. Since then, they've also shared it with South Carolina. This ministry now encompasses Florida and Georgia, and is at the Coastal Empire Camp Ground in Hiltonia GA.  Our camp is among the most successful and swiftest growing camp in our church history. Thank you for "checking us out". We hope to see you at Youth Camp!

A Note From Our Camp Director:

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: Eph 1:3-4

A family usually spends about 30 minutes to an hour a day in family devotions teaching their children the way of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, through His Holy word.

If a family spent 30 minutes a day in devotion, that would be 185.5 hours a year. But in this fast moving society we would be fortunate to get in half this time.

But imagine if you could spend 15 hours a day for one week with a child, giving them the love, grace, and mercy that Jesus gave the children that He commanded His disciple’s to suffer unto him; teaching biblical values, spiritual unity, and the grace of God, through class, counseling, play and worship service. That would be 90 plus hours in one week of undivided Spiritual attention, by the best spiritually minded teachers, evangelist, and counselors available to us by our Lord Jesus Christ. This would almost make up half of the time we lose in family devotion when society interferes.

Heb 6:19 Which [hope] we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil;

When a storm arises and the winds begin to blow the ship around, the ship can be put the ship off course by days and, by the time it regains its bearings time and even lives are lost.

The only Hope it has is to let down its anchor so it will hold its course. But if the anchor does not hold it will go adrift.

We are warned in Heb13:9 ”Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines.” that is every teaching that we are faced with is not a true teaching of Jesus Christ. In today’s society if we are not careful we can get caught up in false teachings and headed in the wrong direction, being misguided and detoured from the trodden path of righteousness.  That we [henceforth] be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, [and] cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; Eph 4:14  The word Children denotes imperfection and weakness, instability and ungroundedness in knowledge. When the winds of false doctrines blow one can easily be knocked off course as a ship out to sea.

 But the Apostle Paul tell the  Hebrews of an Anchor that holds steadfast and strong the never allows one to be detoured of their course “Which [hope] we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil;” Heb 6:19. That is our Lord Jesus Christ.

When give our lives to Christ  we get anchored I the word of God that nothing can toss us to and fro.
